Under Livorno | Livorno, Tuscany

One of those places where the outside feels inside.

Beneath Livorno’s porticoes, the street becomes something in between — neither completely enclosed nor entirely open. Repeating arches, warm pools of light and people moving through the passage transform an everyday route into a space with its own rhythm.

Under Livorno explores that meeting point between architecture and everyday life, where light brings order to the movement and the boundary between interior and exterior almost disappears.

Stephen Griffiths — Griff Leodis

His work looks beyond the postcard view of a destination, finding the quieter stories, contrasts and moments that reveal something about the people who live within it.
