But behind that simple pleasure is a traditional craft that is becoming harder to find. Gelato artigianale was made slowly, from scratch, with skill and care. Today, more of it is produced using industrial methods, ready-made bases and shortcuts.

God Save Gelato is about holding onto the real thing — the people, the craft and the small traditions that make something ordinary feel special.
