Palma’s old streets seem to fold inward toward the cathedral.
From the narrow residential lanes, La Seu rises above the rooftops almost unexpectedly — part landmark, part presence, part reminder that the city’s history is woven directly into everyday life.
What drew me to this scene was the contrast between the ordinary and the monumental: shutters, balconies, cables and people moving through the street, all leading toward one of Mallorca’s most recognisable buildings.
La Seu is less about the cathedral as a destination and more about the experience of discovering it through the city around it.
